Verified Hardware
Hi, we've confirmed the following hardware works on vista:
Logitech Quickcam Pro 5000
Microsoft Lifecam VX-6000
Microsoft LifeCam NX-6000
Integrated camera on the HP Pavilion dv2000.
The LifeCam devices require the most recent LifeCam driver (version 1.4), which is available from the Microsoft lifecam site:
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/digitalcommunication/downloads/default...
Other logitech and microsoft cameras will likely work as well. In principle, any DirectShow-supported camera will work.
I doubt the iSight will work until it can be loaded as a directshow device.
cheers,
R
Logitech QuickCam Express
Actually working with an old Logitech QuickCam Express, it is working on vista ultimate running on a MacBook Pro :) (Core 2 Duo T7500 with GeForce 8800 GTM)
Of course the integrated camera "Built-in iSight" is not working ...
